A Discovery Channel treasure hunter claims he’s discovered “astonishing” evidence of an alien spaceship beneath the Bermuda Triangle.
The notorious Bermuda Triangle has been blamed for the mysterious disappearance of a number of aircraft and ships over the years.
Explorer Darrell Miklos was investigating shipwrecks in the area for the latest episode of Discovery Channel docuseries Cooper’s Treasure.
Using maps created by close friend and NASA astronaut Gordon Cooper to identify magnetic ‘anomalies’, Mr. Miklos was able to locate the precise location of the lost ships.
But during a dive, he discovered something he believes will shock the world – a giant unidentified submerged object.
“I was trying to identify shipwreck material based on one of the anomaly readings on Gordon’s charts when I noticed something that stuck out, that shocked me,” he told the Daily Mail.
“It was a formation unlike anything I’ve ever seen related to shipwreck material, it was too big for that.
“It was also something that was completely different from anything that I’ve seen that was made by nature.”
Images show the bizarre nature of the discovery, which has 15 100 metre long protrusions jutting from its side.
Searching for clues to the object’s identity, Mr Miklos went back to Mr Cooper’s charts – and found the astronaut had written “unidentified object” on the location of the mysterious object.
“Then it made sense to me why it wasn’t identified as a shipwreck,” he says.
“He had to mean it might be something from another world.
“Gordon believed in aliens. He believed that we had visitors from other planets and he also believed that a lot of these things landed in this particular part of the world.”
