The Paracas Candelabra: Ancient UFO Beacon?

Share

The Nazca lines are the most famous geoglyphs in the world but they are far from being the only ones. In fact, just 130 miles (200 kilometers) northwest of Nazca another mysterious giant image can be found–the Paracas Candelabra.
The 600-feet wide geoglyph is carved into the side of a hill and can be seen from miles away. It is believed to represent the staff of Viracocha, the creator god in the pre-Inca mythology.
Despite its proximity to Nazca, it was most likely made by a different culture sometimes around 200 BC.
Archaeologists have been unable to offer an explanation to its exact role.
